History and Origins
In other parts of the world outside Yamaguchi Prefecture, the "Kish" that is rooted in local food is said to have originated in Nara. In Yamaguchi Prefecture, it is believed that in the early 17th century, Lord Iwaji Yoshigawa encouraged the saving of rice, and spread throughout the county, including Tokui City and Zhou Oshima. From the fact that by boiling the tea in its season, its digesting improves, it is now hard to eat as a persimmon. It is characteristic of the Yamaguchi Prefecture tea to put its smoothed tea into a tea bag, boil it with a specially made iron pot called a succulo, and then take out a cup of tea and add rice to it where the color has become dense. It's a sly angle, winter is warm and summer is often cold and eaten. The dish passed down to the civilians as a everyday food, but the recipes for the sea cucumbers have a secret in each home and are carefully packed, so there's a view of the "wind diet." Also, because of the rich growth of sweet potatoes in Pitten Oshima and Tokui districts, we like sweet, sweet potatoes with sweet potatoes.
When It Is Eaten
In summer, when food doesn't go on, it's frozen and eaten at home and usually eaten at home.
How It Is Eaten
I put tea or powder in a cup of tea, boil it in water, and then bring out a cup of tea when the color is dark. Tea bags should be used with gauze or thin cloth. I'll cook rice instead of washing it for boiling tea. Sweet potatoes are cut into one-inch thickness, exposed to water, washed, added to the pot when the rice starts to boil, and cooked with an unscreted amount of cooking. If you stir it, it will hold on. After about 30 minutes, you can stop the fire, steam a little, add salt to the taste depending on your taste.
