History and Origins
The land of natto birth is widely held in Japan, but Kyoto Prefecture is said to be one of them. When the SIX-Q101X-O-Kinjiangjijijiji, a Japanese temple master, was eating a stew wrapped in a bowl of lentils from the villagers, he began to pull strings every day, and it began to taste good. In the temple's scrolls, the occupation is depicted as playing citrus beans. It is said that in time, as a result of the fact that they were available at Kyoto as a rare feature, they came to be called citrus beans. So at that time, the consciousness of the precious food we ate on Hale's Day, such as New Year's, was rooted among the innocent. And there is also the story that this farmer brought natto in his army, and that the name of the mountain bean that is now born in the Kyonoku district is from this region. In times when food wasn't satisfied, and when natto was a valuable protein source, they ate it wrapped in a good - topped bowl. It is said that the "Nazu" of that time was about the size of a face and that New Year's 3 was eaten by a day. In addition to the Kyinoku area, there are customs that create "Natino" and shape in each region.
When It Is Eaten
New Year's Eve is eaten in celebration seats, such as New Year's Day, and in the Kyinoku region, there is still a custom of eating natto and yuzu soup in New Year's season. In the past, it was said that when it came to old age, the head of the household made a large part of the family and ate well.
How It Is Eaten
There are two big ways of eating, and how to eat both natto and natto in the bowl with a paste mixed in with the natto in the bowl. Another method is to wrap natto in a bowl and eat it with favorite mushrooms and so on. They also say they like to cook and burn hard natto beans and eat them in the fragrance.
